Apple updates iWork and locks AI features behind Creator Studio subscription

Apple has released major updates for Keynote, Numbers, and Pages, introducing a new Apple Creator Studio bundle ($12.99/mo). While free users get interface tweaks like Liquid Glass, advanced features such as AI generation, Magic Fill, and smart templates are now paywalled.

Mac users are forced to download separate Creator Studio editions of the apps (v15.1) to receive any future updates, as the existing versions have been discontinued.

We also noticed a significant issue with Pixelmator Pro. Apple has released a new subscription-only version and stopped updating the previous app, effectively breaking promises made to users who bought the lifetime license. The new version of the app renders itself unusable without an active subscription.
