Rabbit Inc. launches desktop control for r1 and teases new hardware

Rabbit has released a significant update for the r1, shifting its focus from a standalone gadget to a peripheral AI controller. The new Desktop Large Action Model (DLAM) enables the r1 to connect to a PC via USB, where it can visually interpret the screen and execute tasks by controlling the mouse and keyboard.

The update also adds support for Moltbot, integrating popular open-source agent capabilities directly into the device.

In addition to software changes, the company revealed Project Cyberdeck. This upcoming hardware is aimed at developers, featuring a retro-futuristic design optimized for command-line interfaces (CLI) and native AI agent development.
